There has been a lot of development in Kamilla's live lately. My apologies for not reporting them! In America she learned how to crawl on 4 legs (instead of her stomac) and now this is the only way she crawls (and boy, does she crawl - all over). She also learned how to wake with support and she just loves that. Sometimes she gets to walk with her stroller (my old stroller from when I was little) and that is so much fun for her. She goes so fast that she is almost running!

Last Monday, she got to go to the library for the first time. She loved it (she loves everything actually). She got to walk along the book cases and see all the books. She also got a library card and we got 3 library books at home. She loves reading books, or rather to flip the pages. She can flip one page back and forward over and over again. We walked to the library (Kamilla, her mom and grandma) and on the way back we met this very friendly cat that just wanted to be stroked. Kamilla loves animals, so she was happy about this as well.

Just after we came back, Kamilla had her long overdue 8 months check-up (she was already 9 months). She is 26.4 inch long and 19 pounds (67 cm og 8,6 kg). Clint came along (he normally doesn't like clinics that much), which is good since he is the major care-giver in the daytime. The nurse gave us some tips about getting her to eat solids. Next day, Kamilla basically only got solids. It was a difficult day, but ever since feeding her has become much easier. Now we can feed her, she still graps the spoon but now she puts it in her mouth (instead of just spilling the food or pushing it away). She eats breads, cereals, fruits (mostly bananas) and then whatever we eat for dinner. She loves real food, especially rice! She can't eat it fast enough and we have to make sure she doesn't eat it to fast!
