Well, mom's back. Kamilla was happy to see me. I'm glad she wasn't pissed off that I went away for a week. But she has a laid back personality so I'm not supprised.

It's been fun after I came back. Friday we went for a visit at Heiðmar Máni's. She doesn't get to play with kids her age (HM is 11 mo.) that much and they played well together (well, more like side by side than together). However, Kamilla started to get very irritated, which is not like her at all. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. She wasn't supposed to be tired yet, nor hungry. However, when I changed her diaper I realized that she was too hot. She was wearing clothes that I just got for her in Hennes and Mauritz (HM) in Denmark - some very nice Winnie the Pooh clothes - and they were just too warm! I took her dress off (she had a body-suit and closed-pants (gammósíur) on underneath). After that she was just fine.

Today, she got to go to the library. She has so much fun there, playing with toys and stuff. There is an elevator right by the childrens area and she waved everyone good-bye that went on the elevator.

Then we went to grandma's house. That's always fun. Some different toys, a cat and a rabbit (the rabbit loves Kamilla ;). Then great-grandma Ása came for a visit ;)

We came home to eat and Kamilla had some pieces of chicken and potatoes. She gave me a tiny piece of chicken and put it in my mouth, just as we sometimes feed her. Then she took a regular size piece and was going to feed me that but she was pulling my leg. She just pretended to feed me and withdrew the piece at the last minute and put it in her own mouth. Then she laughed ;) Very funny.

After dinner, she was playing and the birds were walking on the floor. She actually picked one up (Buddy) and held him by herself. This is the first time she does it and she had the biggest smile on her face. She was so happy and proud of herself. She really likes the birds. They are the reason she started crawling and walking - she was chasing them ;). Sometimes she pretends she is a bird and tries to eat the bird seeds. Not very funny for her parents though.
