Well finally a new post. The blog was down for a while but now it's started up again. Many things have happened since last time. We had a wonderful Christmas and poor Kamilla could hardly stay awake long enough to open all of her presents (in Iceland Christmas starts at 6 PM on Christmas Eve). She wasn't too happy about the fireworks but Icelanders go crazy and everyone shoots up firework, as much as they want, over the New Year (well, not us actually).
Kamilla is growing and maturing every week. She is almost one and a half now and she is speaking more and more, although very unclearly. Her granddad and gramma Sigrún took her to the Zoo Park (it has Icelandic animals only so it is not terribly big!). She liked the geese the best, which are abundant in the city :o So it is enough just to go walking with her downtown, no need to pay to see the other animals as well!
Her favorite things to eat now are raisins, but it used to be apples. Maybe she needs some iron in her system!
Kamilla is having a little sibling in June - we had an ultrasound today, some pictures on my weblog (Sonja's).
