Today we had her feet looked at. Kamilla needs special shoes, one foot is not completely straight and her ankels are a little loose. While I was pregnant with her I was afraid her feet were crippled, turned out I was partly correct!
She is talking more and more. Today, two new words came, both were actually echoes of what we said. When we go up in the morning (after cuddling in bed) I say 'Eigum við að fara fram' ('Should we go out there') and she said 'fram'. Then when she was with her grandma she repeated 'matur' ('food').
Last week and this week Kamilla's day care person is on a holiday (she went to Japan!) and Kamilla's grandmother has been taking care of her before noon and I in the afternoon (of which she is supposed to sleep for 2-3 hours, while I work). They been having a lot of fun, going out every day and the weather last week was great.
Not only did Kamilla say two new words today, she also started opening doors! She can reach the doors now and open them :) It started this moring when we got out of bed and then later she found her 'handbag' (it's a gift bag which is a make-believe handbag), stuffed it with toys and went out for a walk. I actually helped by putting her shoes on and then she started walking downstairs, waiving me goodbye. I wonder how far she would have gone! Her paranoid dad sees danger in every corner (e.g. sticking heads through the bars) and went and got her. She was not happy.
