Today Ása Sóley is 2 weeks old. It was a big day for her. She went on a car ride for the first time. She liked it and slept very well. We run some errants, bought groceries and ended up at her great-grandmother's house, where her grandmother was as well.

Tomorrow is a big day too, Iceland's independance day and I hope the weather will be as good as it has been for the last couple of days because we are going walking downtown. Kamilla has already gotten one helium baloon (with Minnie Mouse) and will get another one from her grandmother (with Mickey Mouse).

Yesterday the nurse came to weigh Ása Sóley. She really is growing a lot. She was 4150 gr (was 3770 gr. a week earlier in the 5 day check-up).
