Anderson kids

Ása Sóley had a check-up today. She was 6.8 kg and 62 cm. She was supposed to get her first shot but a pediatrician (barnalæknir) wasn't there. He was supposed to be there but was delayed. I decided to come again later and got another appointment on Monday. At any rate I didn't want her to have a shot while she had a cold. When Clint got home he didn't like the way her cough sounded (she's had a nasty cough for over a week). Anyways it ended up with me taking her to the pediatricians late shift in Domus Medica. I'm glad a did. I met a woman a used to work with in the Red Cross. That was fun, it turned out she had 4 kids since I saw her last. Better than that, 4 kids in 5 years! The doctor looked in Ása Sóley's ears and saw that they are shaped in a way that makes false diagnosis of ear infection easy. Her eardrums are actually convex (kúpt). He also identified her stuffed nose to be her main problem. I have to give her stronger nose drops. So far I've only be giving her saline solution.
Kamilla is still sick. Good news is that she hasn't been throwing up in the last 24 hours but is weak, listless and has diarrhea. Poor little thing. Lucky for her, her grandmother and great grandmother came by today and watched her while I took her sister to her check-up. She actually preferred begin with her grandmother than her own mother!!!
