Anderson kids

It's been a month since I last wrote! Can you believe it. Time flies and I am so sorry. Usually the more you are doing the less you are blogging and that is true in this case. We moved house at the end of October and moved to my mom's house, where we'll stay until we move to California. At the same time I was finishing my thesis (and it's huge). And on top of that it took quite some time (10 days/2 weeks??) to get the internet hooked up again.
A lot of things have been going on with the girls. Kamilla talks! In one month from having the tubes she started to talk! She can also sing whole songs! It's very cute. For the longest time she would not say her own name. She would often name the people from her family (mamma, pabbi,Sóley) but she would always skip her own name. And than all of a sudden it came, 'Kamilla'. And she says it perfectly (she had her dad's temperment, e.g. only saying the words when she's certain she will get them correct) and overall she talks very clearly. Now it is 'Kamilla á' (Kamilla's) and 'Kamilla líka' (Kamilla also) all the time.
I went in to see Kamilla's teacher at pre-school. They give the parents an evaluation of the kid. One of the things she talked about with Kamilla is that she is afraid to try new things. She's always been like that, always been super-careful. Actually, she's never needed a band-aid (plástur) for a cut! All-in-all she's doing great, acclimating nicely. She does particularly good in playing outside. She loves playing in the yard.
Ása Sóley has also been doing some new stuff, most notably sitting by herself! She loves to sit, especially in her Trip-trap chair (high-chair). It's a relief for mom, who can now do chores around the house without worrying about her. She will just sit in her chair and play with toys.
